ROBERT DIXON, D.O., FACOS

Robert Dixon, D.O., FACOS is a Board Certified
Neurosurgeon, ABOS who has been practicing in the
Columbus area since 1991. With CNS, his practice is
limited exclusively to adult elective spinal surgery.
Dr. Dixon received his graduate medical education at
Western University of Health Sciences, in which he was a
High Honors Graduate 1985; was on Dean's List 1981, 82,
83, 84, 85; awarded the UpJohn Award-Academic Excellence
1985; and a member of Sigma, Sigma Phi Honor Society
1985. Dr. Dixon received his B.S. in Medicinal
(Pharmaceutical) Chemistry at Unversity of the Pacific.
Dr. Dixon is currently on the clinical staff at Dublin
Methodist Hospital. He is the former Residency Director
for Ohio University, COM, Neurosurgical Residency. Dr.
Dixon has had numerous community and professional
appointments including chairman of the National
Scientific Exhibits Committee, ACOS, chairman of
Neurosurgery Section National Meeting, ACOS, was a
member of the board of Orthopedic & Neurologic
Foundation and is a member of the National American
Spine Society. In addition, Dr. Dixon has been a part of
the teaching faculty for several surgical seminars and
courses including ACOS, OSIA Education, Michigan State
University, NASS 2007: Orthofix, Boston Scientific,
Argos International Spine Conference and the Cleveland
Clinic Spine Symposium. Dr. Dixon has been granted 11
United States spine patents, as well as being published
in JAOA, vol 100 and The Spine Journal.

Mark White, D.O., FACOS
is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who has been in the
Columbus area practice since 2000. With CNS, his private
practice is limited to Neurosurgery specializing in
disease of the spine. Dr. White received his graduate
medical education at the University of North Texas
Health Center at Fort Worth. He earned his B.A.
degree in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at
Austin. Dr. White was a Fellow in the Department of
Neurosurgery (Spine) at the University of Arizona
Health Science Center and did his residency at
Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, OH. Dr. White was a
member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society 1985; Sigma
Sigma Phi Honor Society 1992; and Psi Sigma Fraternity
1994. He was also named Who's Who Among Students in
American Colleges and Universities 1999. Dr. White
served as Associate Professor of Neurosurgery for
Division of Neurological Surgery at UNTHC at Fort
Worth. He currently is a member of the American Medical
Association, Texas Osteopathic Association, and the
American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Dr. White also
served as guest lecturer for "Review of Neuroanatomy and
Neurological exam" and "Surgical Treatment Options for
Instability of the Lumbar Spine." He has served as
Program Director of Neurological Surgery at Dr.
Hospital/Grant Medical Center.
